EDUCATION
The project involved the removal of asbestos throughout the building of which was constructed circa 1920 and the conversion of an administration building to teaching spaces and supporting staff offices.
There was a major element of structural works involved due to the removal of existing load bearing walls and the construction of a new PWD and staff amenities to the building. New Breezeway louvre windows were installed to increase the airflow to the building.
Works included a new timber staircase, new joinery throughout, operable walls, structural steel and carpentry, linings, floor finishes, concreting, roofing, sewer and stormwater lines, electrical, Communications, security, and Mechanical works.
All works were completed on time to a high-quality standard.
